Reception at the Port of Tangier. The journey starts in the Rif and then on to Chefchaouen, a Berber city name meaning “horn”, a beautiful location, where white houses arranged on different planes contrast with the green gardens irrigated by the river.
Dinner and overnight stay at hotel or riad.
After Breakfast depart to Fes.Visit the Roman ruins of Volubilis and continue to Meknes for Visiting the old Medina of this imperial city surrounded by ramparts.
Return to your accommodation at hotel or riad in Fes.
The whole day dedicated to Fes, the oldest imperial city in Morocco, founded in the 8th century by Moulay Idriss II. You will visit the Medina, Médersas Attarine, Fontaine Ennajarine, the Mausoleum of Moulay Idriss, the Karawiyin Mosque and the new medina in Fes Jdid. In the evening check-in at hotel or riad.
In the morning drive to the desert village of Merzouga via Azrou, cedar forests and Ziz gorge.
This is a stunningly beautiful route and we can stop for lunch at Midelt. Late afternoon arrival at the edge of the Erg Chebbi dunes and check-in at the desert hotel where you can safely wander about the nearby desert to watch the sunset.
On this day you will have the chance to discover the Region of Merzouga: We shall start from the village of dark-skinned people with whom we shall drink a cup of mint tea and enjoy the live Gnawa music they play.
Than you will explore the desert lake with its many kinds of birds. Afterwards, we continue towards the vast palm grove of Tafilalet, visiting the town of Rissani (the origin of the Alaouite dynasty and the ancient capital of Alaouite Sultans) with fortified villages and souks. Late afternoon drive back to the hotel.
Camel riding at sunset, overnight stay in Berber tent in the heart of the dunes. A day full of adventurous and cultural experiences.
Early morning wake-up for camel riding and watching the impressive sunrise. Then back to the hotel to freshen up and have breakfast. Departure to Dades Gorges through a series of Berber villages. Visit and lunch in Todra Gorges. Afternoon continue to Dades Valley. Overnight stay at hotel/kasbah in Dades Gorges.
After breakfast continue to the town of Ouarzazate through the road of Thousand Kasbahs and off-road to the Rose Valley where you will have time to visit nomadic cave-dwellers. Continue to Skoura palm grove, visit of Aridhyl Kasbah and Taourirt Kasbah in Ouarzazate. Overnight stay at riad/kasbah in Ouarzazate.
After breakfast drive from Ouarzazate to Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah. Visit to this ancient Berber village, where many movies such as Obelix, Gladíator and others were filmed.
We continue on the road to Marrakech crossing the High Atlas Mountains through the Tichka pass at 2, 260 m a.s.l., stopping to take pictures at panoramic places with magnificent views, then lunch in Marrakech and, to follow, drive to Essaouira with overnight stay at hotel or riad.
After breakfast, visit the old city of Essaouira on your own or accompanied by a local guide. Rest of the time at the beach. At about 3 p.m. drive back to Marrakech, night at a hotel or riad.
After breakfast, the group will enjoy a guided tour of Marrakech, the southern pearl of Morocco. You will discover the Bahia and Badi Palaces, Saadían Tombs, Menara basin and many other hidden treasures. Lunch will be at one of the finest traditional restaurants in Marrakech.
After lunch, tour to the magnificent Koutoubia Mosque and the famous market square Djemaa el Fna, well worth a visit, as one of the center attractions of Marrakech, which comes alive at night with local storytellers, snake enchanters, entertainers... and mouth-watering barbecues.
Early morning departure to Casablanca. Visit the Mosque of Hassan II, then continue to Asilah on the coast road through Rabat and Larach. Overnight stay at hotel in Asilah.
Spend the morning at the beach and visiting the medina of Asilah then to the Port to get on the ferry back to Spain.
